Our year 1&2 students were treated to a Drama Lion Dance incursion to consolidate their learning about folktales and the various performances that are used by different cultures. It was a great morning as the lion got up close & personal with our excited students. Some children were lucky enough to be chosen to get under the lion, play the big drum and use the big cymbals.
A huge shout out to Frank & Ben from ‘Cultural Infusion’ for sharing their knowledge and craft about Asian performance, & how lion dancing is used in our community.
