Child Safety at Christ the Priest

All at Christ the Priest Primary School believe that children have the right to feel safe and be safe. Our staff ensures that all students receive the highest possible standard of care and protection at all times.

Child safety at Christ the Priest is highly valued. Three members of the School Leadership Team are nominated as Child Safety Officer to support staff, students and parents in creating a safe environment for all.

Initiatives in place to support child safety at Christ the Priest include;

• Child Safety Officers
• School Psychologist (two days per week)
• PBL expectation around safety
• Cyber Safety Lessons for students through “Inform and Empower”
• Staff briefings on Child Safety topics
• Mandatory reporting requirements for staff
• Annual Bullying No Way Day
